Light Comedic Acting, You Say?

Recognize anyone in this John Laroquette Show clip? How about in this one? He did the music for the show's opening theme as well. Crazy thing is I used to watch this show and I remember the bottled water scene. How did it not register who I was seeing? I, assiduous reader of show credits, missed this?! I swear, the nineties must be to me what the sixties are to hippies: a lost decade.

OMG!!!!!! This is GREAT!!!!! What a wonderful surprise!!!

David did a wonderful job!!! Yup! I like this type of role for him the best so far. It seems to match a big part of his personality, doesn't it? It suits him very well. And he played a poet; a highly creative type with those notorious substance abuse problems, circumstances he’s he's not a stranger to! I've often wondered if he could have done some of the roles Dudley Moore did, like “10”.

I love the end too - that's always a treat. And I finally got to hear the opening theme music I've been hearing about. It really does seem PERFECT for this show.

It’s interesting that even though I didn’t get a good look at his face in his first scene where he ultimately was laid out at the bottom of the steps, I still recognized him. LOL!!! That’s scary. ;-)

Thanks DD!!!

I have never heard of this show (dont get it here) but it was nice to see David and his wobbly legs in it. Has he done any other tv shows from the 1990's onwards? I lost the decade because my kids were in charge of the tv, all I ever saw through the 90's/00's was the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon.

The theme is a surprise, would never have known it was David's voice. There is a mention of it and him on (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_John_Larroquette_Show). There's a paragraph about the theme song written by David Cassidy. How cool is that?

David also wrote the theme song for the series called Screwy St Louis BLues. He said that in order to be chosen on the song's strength and not his name, David submitted the song under the name of Blind Lemon Jackson. Here is the song:

David is Singing the theme.

Think he got a TVland award for the theme song too.

Hey DD, slap yourself for me for actually watching this episode back then and NOT recognizing David.

And as a former hippie, slap yourself for me again for what you said about them too. LOL!!!

I guess its just a case of if you're not looking for something with advanced notice, you don't see it. Its normal.
