Wasn't that a great performance. So glad to see both of them really enjoying it and they sound great together. Love the black shirts too! Very flattering.
Having seen both of these on stage in recent months, I bet it sounded even better live.

Yes, he remembered the words this time. Heard he had a case of the 'flu' again though. David is often ill at concerts, he must be allergic to performing or something!;)

Did he really have the flu again? Hasn't his doctor told him there's a new vaccine for it every year?
Being facetious, of course. I know about flu vaccines and different flu strains, yadda, yadda, yadda. And I can understand getting repetitive colds when you're always traveling. That Love Boat theme song should have been "germs are in the air".
British Fan, how was Davey Jones in concert?
Well, I saw him with The Monkees when they came to England back in May.
He was very entertaining. His voice is not as good as David's but it's fine enough. What he lacked in technique he certainly made up for in enthusiasm and he tried his best to still bounce around the stage to Daddy's Song. The Monkees knew all the words to their back catalog, which is quite extensive. (They were collectively very good, a great concert.) If only David Cassidy could do the same! Who knows, maybe he just might rehearse more and actually learn the words to his songs! Would be good for his brain too.
I enjoyed this too! Great to see David having fun!
