Worth it to watch the whole thing but Mr. Cassidy's solo starts around the 5:54 mark. Don't you just love how the term "teen idol" was never mentioned in the intros? And there were two bona fide teen idols on that stage. Respect.

Yes, Frankie Avalon plays the trumpet. According to Wiki, he was playing the trumpet on TV by age 12. And I just remembered, he was also considered a teen idol. So there were 3 "teen idols" on that stage and not one mention of it by Mr. Clark. :) ("Teen idol" and "chick lit" are two terms that should be permanently trashed.)
So glad my little blog is welcome on your computer screen, Sharon. Not sure why I decided to start blogging again - guess my interest in his work wasn't properly sated.

I might be more a fan of David (though I was also very much an Osmonds fan) but Donny sure looks great here. Wow!
